NoFunnyStuff, operated by Ask4Favour, provides automatic product description evaluation services to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Read access to products.

Additionally, we collect the following types of information once you have installed the App:

• Your Shopify domain and shop identifiers.
• Installation credentials and subscription status information. Shopify handles payment collection.
• Product information, evaluation rules, settings, and evaluation results.
• Your email address and information you provide when contacting us.
• Operational records, such as technical logs needed to operate and troubleshoot the App.

We collect information directly from you, through your Shopify account, and through operational logs used to run the App. Our infrastructure providers may also process connection metadata when serving requests.

The App does not request access to customer or order records. Product content, evaluation rules, and correspondence may contain personal information if you include it.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

• Communicate with you;
• Optimize or improve the App;
• Evaluate product descriptions against your evaluation criteria;
• Display evaluation results and manage your settings; and
• Manage your access to the App and troubleshoot service issues.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share product descriptions and evaluation rules with our configured AI provider to generate evaluation scores and feedback. Hosting, database, and other service providers process information needed to operate the App.

Finally, we may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, including providing the App, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Your information may be processed outside of Europe, depending on the locations of our service providers.

Data Retention

When you use the App, we retain your installation information, evaluation rules, settings, and results to operate the Service. You may contact us to request deletion. When we process a store-deletion request received from Shopify, we delete your store’s associated records. Uninstalling the App does not immediately delete all stored information. Backups, provider records, logs, and correspondence are subject to separate retention arrangements.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
